Center for Civic Initiative – Prilep, finished the third and the fourth from the planned 4 trainings for young people on subject “How to create your political opinion”. These trainings help the young ones in forming their opinions, should they vote and how to decide for whom to vote for.
Participants on these trainings were representatives from Civil society organizations and young new voters, members of different ethnic communities with special emphasis of balanced gender representation. The participants are from 10 different municipalities from our country.
These trainings intend to lay the foundation for trends in social change and pay attention to the role that the changes in the political environment may have on the political inclusion and knowledge. The approach will also serve to establish a friendlier political environment to ensure better knowledge. The training program is used to increase awareness of existing tools, methods, practices and legal instruments for political participation based on transparent and democratic processes. The training helps young people to get informed about the opportunities for civic participation, the voting right as well as the methods and techniques for determining priorities at the local level.
On these trainings taking place in Bitola there were 40 young participants from 10 municipalities.
