The special focus of the project “Empowering minorities and specific groups to promote participatory democracy at community level”, supported by ifa/Zivik Federal Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany is forming partnerships between the media, the citizens and the representatives of the local self-governments, and improving the communication between them which is going to result in unhindered course of objective and relevant information.
Within this activity there are three realized meetings in order to work on improving the relationships between the political representatives and the media. The topic on these meetings was the flow of information that need to be presented in front of the public. There were discussions about the different channels of communication like the way of inviting people, the way of transferring the information and how to go public in front of the media.
