Based on the principle of identification of common needs and interests as a method for connecting of different ethnic communities within the 12 selected municipalities (Municipality of Dolneni, Kichevo, Krushevo, Veles, Saraj. Chair, Resen, Chashka, Kochani, Delcevo, Tearce and Karposh) have been initiated the process of community forums.

The municipal body together with the mentor from the mentorship organization have organized community forums inviting the community – different members from the community, members from the neighbourhood units, members from the civil society, from all of the communities and members from the business sector including 1735 total participants.

During the community forums in each of the targeted municipalities were identified priority areas that are of most importance for the communities regardless the ethnicity. They have developed areas like education, sport, culture, employment, tourism infrastructure etc.

Within the processes in the 12 municipalities 48 community forums were organized where the participation of the community have provided them with the sense of ownerships of the actions and the participants were thinking not only of the needs of each specific community, but in general of the common needs.

The participant on the forums have created municipal action plans for each municipality that were submitted to the local self-governments.
