The seminars for high school students instead of their classrooms, had to be implemented via online platforms instead. In fact, the “Confidence Building” training for students – work groups, from the three high schools: “Jovce Teslichkov” – Veles, “Nace Bugjoni” – Kumanovo and “Josif Josifoski” – Gevgelija were held electronicaly.
The most recent situation with COVID-19 virus and the state of emergency in our country made change and addaption of some of the activities and also the project “Empowering minorities and specific groups to promote participatory democracy at community level phase 2” – realized with the support of ifa/Zivik Federal Foreign Office of Federal Republic of Germany. The seminars for high school students instead of their classrooms, had to be implemented via online platforms instead. In fact, the “Confidence Building” training for students – work groups, from the three high schools: “Jovce Teslichkov” – Veles, “Nace Bugjoni” – Kumanovo and “Josif Josifoski” – Gevgelija were held electronicaly. The trainer Daniela Cvetanoska has successfully adapted and realized the seminars online. The training has introduced the participants with the youth participation and it’s principals and forms. The laws and strategies connected with the youth were presented, and also there was a discussion about influence over the local createors of politics. There was a conversation about strengthening confidence and cooperation between the high school students which brings identification of joint priorities and steps of adopting common solutions. It is worth mentioning that the participants had an active involevemnt thoughout thelectures, discussions and exercises, escpecially the exercises for organizing of meetings and presentation and lobbying their own ideas.
