Trainings for the young people, members of specific groups, members of different ethnic communities from the country with special emphasis of balanced gender representation are
“Empowering minorities and specific groups to promote participatory democracy at community level” is a project in implementation from the Center for Civic Initiative, in co-operation with CIVIL Media, financed by the ifa/Zivik programme of the Federal Foreign Office of Federal Republic of Germany.
Trainings for the young people, members of specific groups, members of different ethnic communities from the country with special emphasis of balanced gender representation are being conducted, related to strengthening their capacities, that is, informing about all the existing mechanisms within the country, how to make the right decision and how can they take part in the decision making on a local level.
Within the project there are 10 municipalities included from the country: Prilep, Resen, Krusevno, Dolneni, Bitola, Kumanovo, Veles, Stip, Debar and Gevgelija. The target of this trainings is to create cores of young leaders in these municipalities, who would later discuss with their peers about how can they all take part in the local processes of decision making together.
