Center for Civic Initiative works on the project “Actions against Gender Based Violence in Roma and other disadvantaged communities” financed by the German Embassy in Skopje.
Representative from the German Embassy in Skopje, Frau Katrin Frühinsfeld visited the Center for Civic Initiative. Frau Katrin Frühinsfeld was able to review the action plan, the functioning of the team, but also there were conversations about the cooperation with the institutions who are contributing in the discovery, help and protection of the victims of gender based and domestic violence. The psychologist and the lawyer of the project were presenting all the documented cases of gender based and domestic violence. With this presentation of cases, a discussion about the most common obstacles and problems that the victims of gender based and domestic violence are encountering and how can they overcome them, was open.
These discussions and visit proved the seriousness of the team and also it contributed to the deepening and expanding this cooperation.
