The workshop for the development of a cross-border action plan for managing the online system and treatment plants of the municipalities of Resen and Devoll was held at the premises of the Municipality of Devoll.
The workshop was attended by representatives from the municipalities of Resen and Devoll, as well as the public utility companies from these municipalities. During the meeting, the structure of the Action Plan was discussed, along with the legal regulations in both countries related to this field. Participants presented their experiences, thoughts, and a series of proposals.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to send the final version of the Action Plan to the participants, giving them the opportunity to provide final suggestions before it reaches its completed form.
This workshop was carried out as part of the project "Prevention of Risks for Environmental Sustainable Practices for Agro Producers – PRESPA," funded by the European Union under the cross-border cooperation programme between the Republic of North Macedonia and the Republic of Albania, and implemented by the Center for Civic Initiative from Prilep, the Municipality of Resen, the Organization for Destination Management from Korcha, and the Municipality of Devoll.
