Within the project“Actions against gender based violence in Roma and other disadvantaged communities” we are continuing the regular meetings with the representatives from the Inter Municipal Center for social works in terms of prevention and support of the victims of gender based violence.
Within the project“Actions against gender based violence in Roma and other disadvantaged communities” we are continuing the regular meetings with the representatives from the Inter Municipal Center for social works in terms of prevention and support of the victims of gender based violence.
Within 2019 the cooperation will be deepened through provision of additional psychological support of the victims from gender based violence and their families where the psychologist will provide free psychological sessions to the victims that will be referred from the multi sector team from the Center for social works.
Additionally, the legal advisor from the Center for Civic Initiative will provide legal aid to the victims of gender based violence.
On the meeting held on 13.02.2019 in the offices of the Center for social works a Memorandum of cooperation was signed among the two institutions.
On the meeting took part also the representatives from the Probation Service from Prilep and it was agreed the cooperation in terms of provision of legal and psychological support for the persons that have served their prison sentence and are facing with problems of lack of personal documentation and re-socialization in the society.
