These days, working meetings were held in the premises of the Municipality of Resen and the Municipality of Devoll with the aim of including the schools in some of the activities for the protection of the environment and the waters of Prespa Lake in accordance with EU standards.
Representatives from schools from the municipalities of Resen and Devoll participated in these meetings, where the attendees were introduced to the objectives, activities and results of the project through a short presentation.
In the future, as part of this project, a campaign and camp for environmental protection will be held in which students from both municipalities will be involved and will have the opportunity to express their creativity and thereby contribute to environmental protection by creating videos, organizing actions, making drawings, poems, eco patrols.
These working meetings were carried out within the project "Prevention of risks for environmental sustainable practices for farmers - PRESPA" which is financed by the European Union from the program for cross-border cooperation between the Republic of North Macedonia and the Republic of Albania, and is implemented by the Center for citizen's initiative from Prilep, Municipality of Resen, Organization for Management of Destinations from Korče and Municipality of Devoll.
