On April 5, 2023, the second workshop was held in the premises of the Municipality of Resen, out of four planned for the development of a cross-border action plan for managing the online system and treatment plants of the Municipality of Resen and Devoll.
Representatives from the municipalities of Resen and Devoll and utility companies from these municipalities participated in the workshop. The participants presented their thoughts on the protection of the lake, the deepening of the action plan and finding solutions in accordance with the institutions, target groups and the time frame were discussed.
During the development of the action plan of the second workshop, the experts organized the efficient work in working groups. New information about the current situation on and around the lake was presented to the group, and the representative of the EU Delegation, Davide Bixio, was also present at this workshop.
In the future, 2 more such meetings will be held between the teams from the Municipality of Resen and the Municipality of Devoll, where the action plan will be supplemented according to the structure of this workshop.
This workshop was realized within the project "Prevention of risks for environmental sustainable practices for agro producers - PRESPA" which is financed by the European Union from the program for cross-border cooperation between the Republic of North Macedonia and the Republic of Albania, and is implemented by the Center for Civil initiative from Prilep, Municipality of Resen, Organization for Management of Destinations from Korča and Municipality of Devoll.
