Representatives of the CCI were in Belgrade and Nis on 26th and 27th June and attended the activities for marking the International Day for Support of Victims of Torture. These activities were organized by the partners from Serbia: IAN – Belgrade and Center for Human Rights – Nis, which were part of the project“Holistic Action against Torture“supported by the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Serbia.

Меѓународната мрежа за помош ИАН имаше организирано низа активности за одбележување на овој ден во Белград меѓу кои и прес конференција и прикажување на театарска претстава со наслов „Барем да не сум женско“, која е работена според приказна на една од жртвите бегалци на кои помош им пружил ИАН Махбуб Тахери. Следниот ден во „Арт галеријата 55“ во Ниш се одржа концерт на класична музика под наслов „Од исток до запад“, кој всушност беше едно музичко патување од Персија до Балканот преку обработка на народни песни на 12 различни јазици од земји кои во историјата поминале низ бурни воени и историски превирања. Во исто време беше отворена и изложба на дела кои ги изработиле клиентки на ИАН, кои се кориснички на прифатниот центар во Босилеград, Србија.
