The project “Empowering minorities and specific groups to promote participatory democracy at community level phase 2” is being implemented by the Center for Civic Initiative in 10 municipalities (Prilep, Resen, Krusevo, Dolneni, Bitola, Kumanovo, Veles, Stip, Debar and Gevgelija) supported by the ifa/Zivik Federal Foreign Office of Federal Republic of Germany.
The project “Empowering minorities and specific groups to promote participatory democracy at community level phase 2” is being implemented by the Center for Civic Initiative in 10 municipalities (Prilep, Resen, Krusevo, Dolneni, Bitola, Kumanovo, Veles, Stip, Debar and Gevgelija) supported by the ifa/Zivik Federal Foreign Office of Federal Republic of Germany. This project with its approach is based on the decision to work for the youth and with the youth and to create conditions in which the young people can fulfill their own potential as active citizens who contribute not only for their personal and professional development, but also development for the whole community.
At the moment, trainings in the selected high school in the selected municipalities are being held, trainings for “Confidence Building”. On the trainings was worked on the confidence building of the youth, they were learning the processes for advocacy to the local policy makers, how to increase their confidence and that they have the power to make changes on local level. The participants on the trainings in Krusevo and Prilep stated great interest and have positively evaluated the training and the work of the expert.
