On 22.06.2018 in Hotel Continental Skopje, a Conference was held attended by representatives from Ministries, representatives from Municipalities, representatives of public Institutions, civil society associations and other citizens, with which CCI works and has established cooperation. On the conference was discussed about whether there is and how much is the impact of CSOs and donors on the democratic processes in Macedonia.
On 22.06.2018 in Hotel Continental Skopje, a Conference was held attended by representatives from Ministries, representatives from Municipalities, representatives of public Institutions, civil society associations and other citizens, with which CCI works and has established cooperation. On the conference was discussed about whether there is and how much is the impact of CSOs and donors on the democratic processes in Macedonia.
The impression was that in the development of the democracy the influence of the civil society organizations and donors is significant. The Municipalities were pleased about the activism of the civil society organizations and donors that helped with the development of the municipalities, and had the feeling that they significantly helped the development of the local democracy. The conference highlighted the need for cooperation and was agreed upon future cooperation between institutions and CSOs and agreements for future joint applications.
The conference was attended by more than 50 people from all over the country, while having gender and ethnic balance on one hand and various professions and representatives from different institutions on the other, which enabled fruitful discussion of a different aspect and need.
